Collective Learning in Practice (CLiP) is an educational program organized by Kunstinstituut Melly. This year it is curated and facilitated by the art education collective Garage School. This edition rethinks the concept of “prepping.” Traditionally associated with militarized, heavily armed men in bunkers, prepping has increasingly entered the mainstream as governments promote survival kits, often alongside exclusionary migration policies. Rather than reinforcing this top-down and individualistic approach, the program invites participants to explore forms of prepping that are social, creative, collective, and hopeful.
For Museumnacht, CLiP #7, Garage School of Prepping Otherwise, participants will share and perform a series of interventions that reflect on and engage with practices of community-based prepping. This program takes place from 20:00 to 21:30.
