For the first time, Fenix opens its doors during Museumnacht010. Explore the exhibition All Directions, Fenix’s collection, featuring artworks by over a hundred artists from around the world. Follow a new route through the exhibition, encountering perspectives on migration from female artists.
Climb the atmospherically lit Tornado in the dark for a spectacular view of the Rotterdam skyline. In the atrium, the Space Choir sings and the bar is open.
Join a creative clay workshop by artist Efrat Zehavi. During spontaneous encounters in the city, Zehavi sculpts the faces of her conversation partners from soft clay. The clay remains malleable and can change, just like the identity of the portrayed. In the workshop’s speed-date format, participants sit opposite a new face and sculpt a portrait while getting to know each other. Zehavi’s work Where Are We Going, consisting of 116 sculpted portraits, is on display in the exhibition All Directions.
The Tornado is open until 23:00. The exhibitions Suitcase Labyrinth and Family of Migrants are closed during Museumnacht010.
