Dutch, More or Less: Contemporary Architecture, Design and Digital Culture showcases over 30 years of contemporary Dutch design. What makes a design ‘typically Dutch’? And how has the concept of ‘more or less Dutch’ evolved? The exhibition shows how Dutch designers reached the forefront of architecture, design and digital culture in the 1990s, and how social and economic developments impacted ideas of ‘Dutchness.’
The exhibition presents iconic work from the 1990s by architecture offices such as OMA and Neutelings Riedijk, industrial designers like Hella Jongerius, and digital projects such as De Digitale Stad. There are also works on show by 75B, Iris van Herpen, Karel Martens, MVRDV, RAAAF, Studio Makkink & Bey, Superuse, Mediamatic, Elisa van Joolen, Irma Boom, ZUS and many more.
Location: Gallery 2.
