Join other visitors and SPARK to collectively compose a story, one word and one piece of paper at a time. Together, these contributions form a paper trail that unfolds throughout the exhibition I Breathe, You Breathe by donna Kukama.

On Prinsjesdag, Dutch politicians show off their most extravagant hats — so during Prinsjesnacht, we do the same. Except this time… we make them ourselves.

Museum Rotterdam and TENT are basically neighbours, with only the water of the Coolhaven between them. So why walk when you can sail? During Museum Night 010, you can hop on the boat for free and sail from Museum Rotterdam to TENT (and vice versa) in style.

The Brutus Garden is a vibrant, industrial sculpture garden. This artistic haven functions as an open-air museum.

Experience Disco Inferno: an industrial monster of roaring machinery, strung together with a tangle of pipes and hoses.

The Education Studio opens its doors for a free walk-in workshop inspired by Beyond Surrealism. Join others in creating a cadavre exquis: everyone adds their own piece of collage or drawing.

During Museumnacht010, V2_ presents Chasing the Dot by Dutch artist Philip Vermeulen, exploring the limits of human perception. What happens when light feels material? When you start watching with your ears and listening with your eyes? In Chasing the Dot, the boundary between seeing and sensing dissolves.

Expect a unique tour of the Poetry for the People exhibition by spoken-word artists. The spoken-word artists have drawn inspiration from the museum's diverse collection, creating a dynamic dialogue between past and present, and between global influences and local stories.

For Museumnacht010, STRIPTOPIA presents a temporary installation where photography, storytelling, and live performance come together. At its heart are five female sex workers, presented as performers and storytellers in their own right with full agency over how they are seen, heard, and represented.

As you descend the industrial-looking metal stairs into the basement of the Nieuwe Instituut, you’ll find our hub for digital culture: -1 Digital Lab, surrounded by humming servers at the heart of the building. It’s a living laboratory, where digital creators experiment with new techniques, as well as a space for showcasing new work.

Museumnacht010 visitors are welcome in the MIES Rooftop Apartment for a theatrical performance in collaboration with Studio de Bakkerij. Enter the world of Mies Lanen and discover the history of the building through text, movement and imagination.

Play along in our royal twist on the famous Dutch “Million Hunt.” You’ll find mysterious briefcases hidden across the museum. Some filled with financial wisdom, others with playful traps.

During Museumnacht010, Kult Funktion lets the Wereldmuseum Rotterdam breathe with electronic rhythms, promoting electronic music and house music as a cultural compass. As Rotterdam's new cultural platform, it uses house music as both heritage and the future language.

Old school hip-hop dominates the ground floor, with Pete Philly & Perquisite as the night’s headliners. Kesia Smit sets the vibe before handing over to DJ Cutnice and Ray Escobar, who will turn up the energy and keep the crowd dancing.

In need of some peace and quiet? Throughout the evening, Melly provides a calm, low-sensory space in the auditorium on the first floor for visitors who need a moment of rest and reflection during the busy night.

During Museumnacht010, the Wereldmuseum opens the Makers Salon: a space where craftsmanship and entrepreneurship come together. In the spirit of Art She Crafted, we invite makers who feel connected to, or inspired by, the creative power of women throughout history.

Cult North offers young, self-taught artists from Rotterdam a place for development and inspiration. Spoken word artist Moze Naél guided five talented young people to create a spoken word performance to share during Museumnacht010.
Discover how our beautiful city is connected to its maritime history at the exhibition Destination Port City. Step into the metro and travel from the punter, a small medieval vessel that marks the beginning of Rotterdam, to the global port city of today.

Kunsthal Rotterdam will be showcasing an intervention to its building by Rotterdam artist, designer and Museumnacht ambassador Sabine Marcelis. On the characteristic ramp traversing the building, as well as in HALL 6, the Kunsthal’s display window, Marcelis will be presenting her site-specific work Continuum.

This ongoing workshop focuses on an overlooked phenomenon: the knitting club. Not everyone knows that this is a fertile place for knowledge exchange.

Bring the books to life at PrintRoom! Immerse yourself in a playful interactive experience where you can reimagine, redesign, and reinvent old panties through DIY creation.

During Museumnacht010, Hiphophuis moves through different layers of hiphop: development, exchange, and live creation. From emerging makers shaping their craft to collectives building energy in real time, the night highlights not just the outcome but the foundation behind it. Together with Kunsinstituut Melly, House of Knowledge and IBE we are opening up our house and have something on each floor for everyone.

Creative platform Kunstbende and Rabobank jointly show how rich the Netherlands is in young talent. Because in addition to beautiful art from years ago, the Depot is also a stage for contemporary art.
