FLASH TOUR: Gallery of Honour of Dutch photography (approx. 20 minutes)
In the Gallery of Honour of Dutch photography 99 images tell the fascinating history of 180 years of photography in the Netherlands. From 1842 to the present. During these flash tours, one of our museum lecturers will take you past a selection of these icons. Within twenty minutes you will discover the hidden stories behind the images from the Gallery of Honour of Dutch Photography.

DIY: Tell us your visual story
In the Gallery of Honour of Dutch Photography you will find 99 images and 1 empty list. The last image is open and is up to you to add to Gallery of Honor. Download the App Nederlands Fotomuseum (in Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and complete the Gallery of Honour of Dutch Photography: 99+1.

In our central hall you will find appr. 500 images that have been added by our visitors since 2021. We challenge you to create your own visual story with these +1 photos. Will you choose pets or the abstract architectural photos? Does your story have a theme or are you guided by the use of color? Create your own story, snap a photo of it and share it via #galleryplus1

DIY: CYANOTYPIE – Blueprint your own limited edition bag
Did you know that you don’t need a camera at all for the oldest photographic technique? Cyanotype is a photographic process that produces a cyan-blue print after development. Due to the characteristic blue color, this technique is also called a blueprint. During Museumnacht010 we have a limited number of bags available, with which you can make your own limited edition bag.

Workshop: Waveformers
An artistic fusion of music technology and physics, allowing you to see sound. A unique “cymatics” workshop for everybody from 9 to 99 years old. In this workshop, participants explore concepts such as frequency, amplitude, basic waveforms and resonance in a visual and interactive manner.

(Live) music
During Museumnacht010, performers appear in the exhibitions for unexpected encounters. Show off your best dance moves and feel like a dancing queen!
