Studio Seine is an independent exhibition space for contemporary art in Rotterdam. In October 2016, Studio Seine opened its doors to the public in a former car garage on the Mathenesserdijk.

Each year, Studio Seine curates several exhibitions based on a thematic starting point. It then alternates these with solo and duo exhibitions by emerging and established artists. The primary goal is to create strong exhibitions that show current developments in the arts. As an independent exhibition space, Studio Seine does not rely on subsidies or other forms of financial support. This enables Linda Seine to completely autonomously curate exhibitions.

With a keen eye for emerging talent, development opportunities, visual quality and expressiveness, Linda carefully crafts Studio Seine’s future.

Since 2021, Linda has been representing artists in their careers, which she herself characterizes as a ‘two-track approach’ because it is separate from her role as curator for Studio Seine. Artists expressed the desire to have more freedom and to not be represented by a traditional gallery. They wanted to independently make important decisions. Out of love for art Studio Seine meets in this need for modern patronage.
