During Museumnacht010 MaMA will show an exhibition project by a creative organizer, writer, and artist Caithlin Courtney Chong, one of MaMA’s program coordinators for 2024.

The exhibition project explores how the Caribbean Netherlands are addressing climate change and “Overtourism.” The program engages participating creators and the audience in exploring questions such as: How can we adopt alternative perspectives on self-sufficiency and reduce dependence on tourism? What are the perspectives of young creators on these issues, and what are their future prospects, particularly in the context of climate change? An interactive program component created by MaMA’s team will align with the exhibition.
