The Rotterdam artist Dolf Henkes painted four paintings in the stadium on the occasion of the opening of the Feijenoord Stadium in 1937. Sketches and preliminary studies by Henkes, but also many other paintings, photos and football items are now on show in the FC Belvedere exhibition about the legendary football club that existed in Katendrecht from 1920-1950.
