CAMEO | Johan van Oord

Hitchcock in art? It’s possible at Phoebus! Johan van Oord worked for several years on the ‘CAMEO’ project – washed drawings in watercolor and pencil on paper. The title is a tribute to Hitchcock, who did exactly in his films what Johan now does in his washed drawings: smuggle his presence into an artistic situation. During this exhibition Ton van Dalen does ‘project space 4’. He places a sculpture as a model, which is related to the work of Johan van Oord.
